Amy B. Alderfer

Amy Bridget Alderfer was born on November 29, 1973, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a graduate of St. Viator elementary school, Bishop Gorman High School (1992), and Loyola Marymount University (1996), before earning her law degree from the USC Gould School of Law in 1999. She was a member of both the California and Nevada State Bar Associations.

An accomplished litigation attorney, Amy served as a partner in the Santa Monica, California, office of the Cozen O'Connor law firm. At the time of her passing, she held the position of Principal Attorney for The Walt Disney Company at the Disneyland Resort, which was described as her dream job.

Amy was deeply engaged in the legal and academic communities she served. She was a past president of the Century City Bar Association and spent four years as president of the USC Gould Alumni Association. She also held positions on the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors and the USC Gould Board of Councilors, and in 2021 she received the USC Alumni Association's Widney Alumni House Volunteer Award. Amy Bridget Alderfer died on May 3, 2023, at the age of 49.
