Ann M. Seward - November 20, 1955 to August 3, 2021
Ann Marie Seward was born Ann Marie Giansiracusa on November 20, 1955, in Winchester, Connecticut, and moved to Tucson, Arizona, as a teenager. She graduated from Catalina High School in 1973 and went on to the University of Arizona, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1977 and a Juris Doctor in 1980.
She began her legal career in uniform, serving as an Air Force officer and Judge Advocate General. She later entered private practice, first in Tucson, Arizona, then in Las Vegas, Nevada - where she was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1988 - and afterward in Saint Louis, Missouri. She retired in 2014.
Beyond the law, Ann was known for her art, her music, her deep faith and wide-ranging religious scholarship, and her wisdom and strength of character. She was survived by her husband of 33 years, Mark Seward, her mother, and her sister, and is remembered by all who knew her.
