John C. Wawerna

John Charles Wawerna was a longtime Las Vegas attorney whose legal career in Nevada spanned four decades. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colorado State University, a Master of Science in Forensic Science from George Washington University, and his Juris Doctorate from the California Western School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in 1978 and licensed to practice in both Nevada and Colorado.

Over the course of more than 39 years in practice, Mr. Wawerna concentrated his work in personal injury, domestic, and criminal law, operating his own firm, John C. Wawerna P.C., in Las Vegas. He was a member of the State Bar of Nevada and was admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada (1980), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1989), and the U.S. Supreme Court. He was recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member for his contributions to the legal profession.

Born on September 7, 1946, in Conway, Arkansas, John Charles Wawerna passed away on March 17, 2019, in Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wawerna, and his mother, Robbie Wawerna.
