Arthur F. Wehrmeister

Arthur F. Wehrmeister Jr. was born in 1943 in Chicago, Illinois, to Arthur and Florence (Godfrey) Wehrmeister. He pursued a broad education, graduating from the University of Maryland and the Thunderbird School of Global Management before earning his law degree from the University of San Diego.

In 1979, Arthur moved his family from San Diego to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he built his legal career. Over the years he practiced law in several settings in Las Vegas, contributing to the local legal community.

Beyond private practice, Arthur devoted a significant part of his career to public service as a prosecutor. He served as County District Attorney in Nye County, Nevada, and later held the same office in Esmeralda County, Nevada. He passed away on March 20, 2017, in Las Vegas.
