Barry J. Lipson - 1955-06-20 to 2003-08-08
Barry J. Lipson was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on October 2, 1999. He built his legal career as one of the founding members of Lipson Neilson, a firm established in 1985 in Detroit that grew from three attorneys into a regional practice with offices in Michigan, Nevada, Arizona and beyond.
Colleagues remembered him as a beloved and respected leader, valued both for the core values he helped instill at the firm and for his lasting service to the community. Beyond his legal work, he founded the Endowment for Surgical Research (ENSURE), a charitable foundation dedicated to advancing pediatric medicine.
Born June 20, 1955, he died on August 8, 2003, at the age of 48. He was survived by his wife, Debra, and their three sons, Mark, Kevin and Brian.
