Bryan W. Poehler

Bryan W. Poehler was born on October 26, 1947, in Effingham, Illinois. He earned an undergraduate degree in History from Ohio University before completing his law degree at Northwestern School of Law in Chicago in 1972.

Mr. Poehler began his legal career in the United States Air Force, serving four years as a JAG attorney stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. His service brought him to Nevada, where he was admitted to the State Bar on September 20, 1976. He went on to practice with the Clark County Prosecutor's office in Las Vegas.

Beyond his work in the law, Mr. Poehler devoted many years to leadership within the Church of God movement at the local, state, and national levels, concluding his tenure on the national Church of God Ministries Council in 2004. He passed away on September 14, 2024.
