C. Benjamin Scroggins

Corbett Benjamin Scroggins, known professionally as C. Benjamin Scroggins, was a native of Las Vegas who devoted his career to the practice of law in his home city. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on October 5, 2001, he built a litigation practice that spanned both civil and criminal matters over more than two decades.

Early in his career, Mr. Scroggins served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender, dedicating four years to representing criminal defendants facing capital punishment on Nevada's death row in both Nevada state and federal courts. His broader practice also encompassed personal injury and products liability work. In 2012, he left the Federal Public Defender's Office to establish his own firm.

As the founder of The Law Firm of C. Benjamin Scroggins, Chtd., he represented clients across the full range of their civil and criminal litigation needs, with a particular focus on criminal defense, including matters involving protection orders and driving under the influence. He is remembered for his long service to the Las Vegas legal community.
