Carl Frank Martillaro

Carl Frank Martillaro was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on December 31, 1957, and built his legal career in Carson City, where he became known as a well-regarded criminal defense lawyer. Over the decades that followed, he was a familiar figure in Nevada's courts, appearing as counsel in matters that reached the Supreme Court of Nevada from the 1960s through the 1980s.

Among his notable work, Mr. Martillaro served as an attorney in a range of civil and criminal proceedings, including representing clients in estate and probate matters - in one case counseling a client on the development of a Lyon County ranch and preparing his will. A military veteran, he devoted his professional life to the practice of law in the Carson City community he served.

Mr. Martillaro was the father of Henry C. Martillaro, who also went on to practice law in Carson City. Born on February 8, 1928, Carl Frank Martillaro died on October 5, 1993, at the age of 65.
