Charles Lee Harper

Charles Lee Harper was a lifelong resident of Reno, Nevada, and a longtime member of the state's legal community. He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned his law degree from Willamette School of Law in Salem, Oregon, before entering practice in Nevada.

Together with his brother, Bill, he founded the firm of Harper & Harper, Attorneys at Law, where the two practiced side by side for decades. Charles remained in practice until his retirement in 2000, closing out a legal career rooted in his home community of Reno.

Beyond his profession, he was a member of The Prospectors Club, the NRA, and the ACBL, and he was known for his passions for history and for traveling the world. He is remembered as a devoted family man who raised four children.
