Courtenay A. Lachenmaier

Courtenay A. Lachenmaier was a Las Vegas attorney who practiced law in the city from the time she graduated from Drake University School of Law in 1996 until her passing. Over the course of her legal career, she worked at several Las Vegas law firms before establishing her own practice.

Born April 4, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Courtenay grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from Council Rock High School in 1984 and competed on the school's field hockey, basketball, and track teams. She went on to graduate from Penn State University in 1988 before pursuing her legal education at Drake University School of Law.

Courtenay divided her time between Las Vegas and Cape May Court House, New Jersey. She enjoyed music, dancing, and sports, and treasured time spent at the Jersey shore and in the Colorado mountains. She passed away on May 21, 2013, after a long illness.
