Craig I. Ihara

Craig Iwao Ihara was born on October 12, 1950, in Hilo, Hawaii, to James and Tomiko Ihara. He was raised in Reno, Nevada, where he graduated from Reno High School before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. He went on to attend the McGeorge School of Law, and he also served in the military as an officer.

Admitted to the Nevada bar in 1979, Craig Ihara built a legal career spanning more than 30 years, practicing in both Nevada and Hawaii. Colleagues and clients remembered him as a gifted attorney and a dependable source of sound counsel, respected for his willingness to offer guidance on both professional and personal matters.

Craig I. Ihara passed away on January 2, 2012. He was remembered by those who knew him as a good man whose advice and generosity left a lasting impression on his community.
