Cynthia J Callendar-Gordon

Cynthia Joan "Cindy" Callendar-Gordon was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on October 5, 1961, to Arlene Achille and Martin Callendar, and was raised in Lincoln, Rhode Island, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1979. She earned a place on the Dean's List and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1983, before going on to graduate Cum Laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1986.

Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on September 24, 1990, Cynthia built a career as an attorney in Las Vegas, where she practiced in the area of family law. Beyond the practice of law, she brought her characteristic energy to a range of pursuits - working as a model, helping to produce a film franchise, and inventing two consumer products, the Sleep Master Sleep Mask and the JuveRest Pillow.

A lifelong learner known for her charm and wit, Cynthia was an active member of her community and church. She was led back to her Catholic faith and made her confirmation in May of 2021, and she made it her mission to inspire passion and faith in those around her. She passed away on May 4, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 60.
