Dale Edward Haley

Dale Edward Haley was a native Nevadan, born on November 11, 1947 in Elko, Nevada to Willard and Florine Haley. He attended Las Vegas High School and served in the U.S. Army's 3rd Armored Division from 1968 to 1974, receiving an honorable discharge. He graduated with distinction from UNLV in 1975, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law on May 31, 1980. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada later that year.

Dale built a distinguished legal career in public service and private practice. He served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada from 1983 to 1989, and then as a Deputy District Attorney in the civil division for Clark County from 1989 to 1999. In 2000 he entered private practice, which he continued until his passing.

Dale passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on April 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Florine Haley, and his brothers Willard and Merrill Haley.
