Daniel P. Rickert

Daniel Patrick Rickert was born in 1961 in Galesburg, Illinois, to Vaughn Irving Rickert and Joanne Rickert (Elghammer). He attended college and law school in Denver, Colorado, before building his legal career in Nevada.

Dan practiced law for 30 years, dedicating much of his career to bankruptcy work in Las Vegas. For 21 years he was associated with the Law Offices of Frank Sorrentino, and he also served as attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustee, Kathleen A. Leavitt. Over three decades of practice he became a familiar and respected figure in the local bankruptcy bar.

Beyond the law, Dan was an avid horse lover who competed in dressage riding exhibitions and competitions, and he raised and bred his beloved Holsteiner horses at the Money Pit Farm in Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 60.
