David H. Krieger

David H. Krieger was a Las Vegas, Nevada, attorney admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2004, where he built his practice around consumer bankruptcy and consumer-protection law. He founded his first law firm the same year he was admitted, and went on to become a co-founder and member of Haines & Krieger, LLC. In 2020 he established Krieger Law Group, LLC, together with Nevada Bankruptcy Attorneys, LLC, continuing his focus on helping individuals and families through financial hardship.

His work spanned Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy, foreclosure and short-sale solutions, credit-reporting and consumer-harassment matters, and personal injury - including representing consumers in fair-credit litigation such as Anderson v. Trans Union, LLC. Colleagues credited him with saving thousands of Las Vegas homes from foreclosure and helping clients discharge billions of dollars in personal debt. Having grown up around his family's long-established domestic clothing manufacturing business - which became insolvent in the late 1990s - and having spent his youth in New York City before his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, he brought a personal understanding of financial struggle to his advocacy.

Remembered by those who knew him as a 'gentle giant,' a devoted friend, and a tireless champion for his clients, David H. Krieger was known for continually seeking new ways to obtain better results for the people he represented and for his firm. He died unexpectedly in January 2023.
