David R. Aberman MD

David Richard Aberman, MD, was a Las Vegas physician whose lifelong love of learning led him to a second scholarly pursuit in the law. He earned a BA in psychology from the University of Illinois, Chicago, completed medical school at UAG in Guadalajara, Mexico, served his internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, and completed his OB-GYN residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. After relocating to Las Vegas in 1982, he practiced obstetrics and gynecology until his retirement in 2016.

In the medical community, Dr. Aberman served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine from 1984 to 1994 and as Chief of Staff at Women's Hospital from 1988 to 1991. Later in his career he pursued a legal education, graduating Cum Laude in 2002 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law as a member of its Charter Class. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada that same year.

Dr. Aberman passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023, at the age of 76. He is remembered for his intellectual curiosity and dedication to his professions in both medicine and the law.
