Delbert Eugene Martin

Delbert "Eugene" Martin was born July 18, 1942, in Preston, Idaho. He became a longtime resident of Las Vegas after moving there in 1979, and he built his professional life in the Nevada legal community.

Eugene devoted his legal career to public service as an attorney with the Clark County Public Defender's Office, from which he retired in 2004. His work there placed him among the advocates who represented those in need of a defense throughout the Las Vegas area.

After his retirement, Eugene continued to serve the justice system, sitting as a pro tem justice of the peace throughout Clark County. He passed away May 20, 2014, at the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 71.
