Demetrios A. Dalacas

Demetrios A. Dalacas, known to many by the nicknames Jimmy, Greek, and "D," was a Las Vegas attorney whose career centered on serving injured clients. Though born in California, he came to Las Vegas at eighteen months of age and proudly considered himself a Las Vegas native. He graduated from Western High School, where he was remembered as an accomplished athlete and scholar, before earning a bachelor's degree from the entrepreneur program at the University of Southern California business school.

He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the Cooley School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on September 29, 2000. Over the course of his legal career he primarily practiced personal injury law, representing clients throughout the Las Vegas community.

Colleagues, friends, and family recalled Demetrios for his larger-than-life personality, his wit, and his big heart, as well as his deep devotion to his family. He passed away at the age of 55 on May 16, 2020.
