Dennis L Olson

Dennis L. Olson was born on September 6, 1941, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Minnesota and received his Juris Doctor in 1966, launching a legal career that would span both military and civilian practice.

Much of Dennis's professional life was devoted to service in the United States Air Force, where he served for twenty-seven and one-half years. He was an accomplished officer in the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) and the Judge Advocate General (JAG) corps, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and serving two tours as a trial judge before his retirement in 1994.

Following his military career, Dennis relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced as a private attorney for eight years. He was a member of the Nevada State Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association. Dennis L. Olson passed away on September 23, 2017, at the age of 76.
