Donald Karl Wadsworth - December 21, 1930 to November 22, 2023
Donald Karl Wadsworth built a distinguished legal career in Nevada. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and graduated from UCLA Law School in 1958, going on to pass the Nevada State Bar in 1959. Before entering the law, he served as an officer in the United States Army Artillery Corps, entering as a 2nd Lieutenant and rising to the rank of 1st Lieutenant.
In 1961, Wadsworth joined the Clark County District Attorney's Office, where he would serve for more than three decades under multiple district attorneys. In 1974 he was appointed Chief of the Criminal Division, a role in which he helped lead the prosecution of criminal matters in the county.
Wadsworth capped his long career in public service as the 1st Assistant District Attorney of Clark County, retiring in 1994 after a lifetime of dedication to the law and to the community he served.
