Donald Paul Norris

Donald Paul Norris was a longtime attorney whose legal work spanned public policy, business, and consumer bankruptcy law. A native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, he graduated from Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School in 1962, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Tufts University in 1966, and received his Juris Doctor from Boston University Law in 1969.

For more than 20 years, Norris worked as a government and legislative affairs representative and as legal counsel for large business organizations and for national and regional trade and public interest organizations. He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada just before 2000 and took the Nevada bar exam that year, being admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on September 29, 2000.

In Las Vegas, Norris learned the practical fundamentals of consumer bankruptcy law and practiced with the Frank Sorentino Law Offices, where he was responsible for a large volume of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. He continued to serve clients throughout his career, remaining engaged in his legal work in the Las Vegas community. He passed away on July 19, 2022.
