Donna L. Schubert

Donna Lee Schubert came to the law after a distinguished career in engineering. She earned a metallurgical engineering degree from the University of Southern Colorado in 1978 and went on to lead an engineering group whose work took her around the world. When she was passed over for promotion, she sued her employer - an experience that led her to open her own successful consulting firm and, ultimately, toward the practice of law.

Donna graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997 and then relocated with her husband, Craig, to Henderson, Nevada, where she built her life and legal career. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on December 30, 1998, holding bar number 6816.

Donna Lee Schubert was born on April 1, 1951, and passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 74. She is remembered for the warmth and generosity she brought to her home and community, and she is survived by her daughter, Sunshine Smith, and her husband, Craig Roecks.
