Dwight Baker Claar Jr.

Dwight Baker Claar Jr. was born June 1, 1925, in Tennessee and made his career in the law in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on October 28, 1960, taking up practice in Clark County during a formative period for the region's legal community.

In the years that followed, he appeared before the Supreme Court of Nevada, serving as counsel in the 1963 decision Kraemer v. Kraemer - a reflection of an active courtroom practice in southern Nevada. A veteran of the United States Army, he remained in Las Vegas, where he died on November 15, 2009. He was laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
