Eileen Barnett

Eileen Barnett was born September 21, 1953, in Tooele, Utah. She had a passion for the law and built a 32-year career as a prosecuting attorney, dedicating her professional life to public service in the courts of Nevada.

Among the highlights of her career, she served a term as District Attorney of Lincoln County, Nevada - a role reflecting the trust placed in her judgment and her long commitment to the practice of law. Her decades of work as a prosecutor spanned the whole of her career until her passing.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Heber and Dora Barnett. She is survived by her sisters, Le Anna Fretwell and Gayle Boone; her brothers, David Barnett and Gary Barnett of Caliente, Nevada, and Ronald Barnett of Visalia, California; as well as many nieces and nephews. She passed away peacefully on May 1, 2011, in Tooele, Utah, after a battle with cancer.
