Elizabeth Avis Vibert

Elizabeth Avis Vibert was a longtime Nevada attorney who devoted her legal career to public service in Clark County. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on January 31, 1990, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Civil Division of the Clark County District Attorney's Office, where she was known among current, former, and retired colleagues of that office.

For nearly 20 years, Ms. Vibert served as legal counsel for the Clark County Law Library, guiding the institution through its legal matters over the better part of two decades. On November 29, 2023, the Clark County Law Library Board of Trustees approved a resolution honoring her memory in recognition of that long and dedicated service.

Elizabeth Avis Vibert passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 60, after an illness with pancreatic cancer. She is remembered by her colleagues in the Clark County legal community for her decades of steady counsel and public service.
