Gary Logan

Wm. Gary Logan built his legal career in Nevada after earning a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California School of Business and a law degree from Creighton University School of Law, where he received numerous academic awards. Following his admission to the Nevada bar, he began practice as a Deputy District Attorney in the Criminal Division of the Clark County District Attorney's Office, and he later served as the Chief Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada.

Over a career spanning five decades, Gary tried numerous criminal and civil cases, but he was perhaps best known as the leading military aviation accident lawyer in the United States. He represented the widows of the United States Thunderbird aerobatic team, as well as the widows of eleven F-16, seven A-10, and four F-15 pilots. In recognition of his work, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers - an honor reserved for the top one percent of trial lawyers in the nation, extended upon the recommendation of federal and state judges.

Gary practiced law in Las Vegas alongside his longtime legal colleagues and close friends Devoe Heaton, Richard Wright, and Jerome Blut. Born February 24, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York, he settled in Las Vegas with his family and remained a fixture of its legal community until his death on January 14, 2021.
