Gary Thomas Watson

Gary Thomas Watson was born on November 22, 1953, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a degree in Public Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, before attending law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1980.

Gary began practicing law in the Las Vegas area in 1980. He clerked for Judge Mendoza and then entered private practice, working for a time with the firm of Apple and Zervas and with Robert M. Apple. He went on to serve as the Supervising Deputy Attorney for the Nevada Attorneys for Injured Workers in Las Vegas, holding that supervisory role for approximately 25 years.

After a legal career spanning more than three decades in Nevada, Gary retired in November of 2013. He passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 68.
