George D. Frame

George D. Frame was a longtime Las Vegas attorney whose legal career in Nevada spanned more than five decades. Born April 14, 1936, in West Virginia, he served in the Army Security Agency in Germany before beginning his path toward the law. He earned his law degree in 1967 from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Georgia, the same year he was admitted to practice in Nevada.

After settling in Las Vegas and initially working for the Las Vegas Police Department, George devoted himself to the practice of law. He served Clark County as a Deputy Public Defender and later as Chief Deputy District Attorney, gaining experience on both sides of the criminal courtroom. In 1972 he opened his own law office and entered private practice, which he maintained for many years. Over the course of his career he was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the Nevada Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

George D. Frame passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 85. He is remembered for his long service to the Nevada legal community and to the people of Clark County.
