George D. Mallo

George D. Mallo was a respected attorney whose legal career spanned decades and two states. Born November 3, 1947, in Akron, Ohio, he graduated from Ohio University and earned his law degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law in just two years. He went on to build a highly successful law practice in northeastern Ohio, where he was well regarded by colleagues and clients alike.

Committed to broadening access to legal services, George founded the Mallo Legal Clinic, which offered affordable legal help to the community. His standing in the profession was further recognized when he served for three consecutive years as Special Counsel to the Attorney General of Ohio. He was also known for lending his legal expertise in service to his church community.

After moving to Las Vegas, George earned his license to practice law in Nevada, continuing the profession he loved. In this chapter of his career he served as General Counsel to his brother John's business, Budget Rent a Car, where colleagues valued his knowledge, his ability to think outside the box, and his sense of humor. George D. Mallo passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 71.
