George L. Aydelott

George L. Aydelott was born near Fresno, California, in the San Joaquin Valley. He graduated from Stanford University and earned his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School, going on to build a legal career that spanned several jurisdictions across California and Nevada.

Over the course of his practice, Mr. Aydelott practiced law in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Incline Village and South Lake Tahoe. In the South Lake Tahoe community he served on the panel of attorneys available for appointment by the court in Juvenile Court and Criminal Court, and he occasionally sat as judge pro tem there - contributing his experience to the bench as well as the bar.

Beyond his legal work, Mr. Aydelott was a past member of the El Dorado County Sheriff's Team of Active Retirees, teaching law to incoming members before their appointments. He was an avid bridge player who participated in tournaments and several bridge groups. He was 66 years old.
