Gregory C. Diamond

Gregory C. Diamond built a lengthy and dedicated career as a county and federal prosecutor. He served in the U.S. Attorney's Office, and his work in public service spanned Nevada and Utah over the course of many years.

As a federal prosecutor, Diamond had the opportunity to work abroad in Moldova with USAID and the U.S. State Department, lending his legal experience to international rule-of-law efforts.

Born March 20, 1947, in Park City, Utah, and raised in Salt Lake City, Diamond served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the French East mission. He was remembered for his wit, his signature bow ties, his love of fly fishing, and his eclectic appreciation of books, music, movies, and poetry. He died August 12, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
