Murray Posin

Murray Posin was a judge and longtime Las Vegas attorney whose career in the law spanned much of the second half of the twentieth century. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1954, he became a fixture of the Southern Nevada legal community over the decades that followed, practicing for more than fifty years.

He was a founding partner of the Las Vegas firm Posin & Posin, which he built and where he later practiced alongside his son, attorney Mitchell Posin. The Posin name became a familiar one in the city's legal circles, reflecting a family devoted to the practice of law in Nevada.

Murray Posin died in March 2007 after a lengthy battle with cancer and complications that arose from a broken ankle. He is remembered as part of an enduring Las Vegas legal family and is survived by his son, attorney Mitchell Posin.
