James A Kalicki

James Anton Kalicki was a prominent Nevada lawyer for more than 25 years and a founding and Senior Partner in the law firm of Kalicki Collier. Known to many as Jamie, he was remembered as a fierce advocate and a highly respected attorney with exceptional conversational and planning abilities.

Before entering the practice of law, he built a background in tax and accounting - working for the Internal Revenue Service and in the private sector with Horning, Holmberg & Company, CPAs, where he became a Certified Public Accountant. Upon earning his law degree in 1995, he served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Charles E. Springer, Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court, gaining valuable experience early in his legal career.

In early 2000, Kalicki formed Kalicki Law Offices, Ltd., which later became Kalicki Collier, PLLC, based in northern Nevada. He passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 58.
