Brian Kent Harris

Brian Kent Harris was a personal injury attorney who practiced law in Nevada, Utah, and Arizona over a career spanning more than two decades. Born August 20, 1973, in El Cajon, California, he earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Utah State University and graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2000, finishing in the top of his class. He began his legal career in Southern Utah, serving as a Washington County Public Defender in St. George, before relocating to Las Vegas in 2001 and joining the practice of his uncle, Richard Harris, at Mainor Harris.

In 2008, Brian and his wife Heather founded Harris & Harris Injury Lawyers in Las Vegas, where he concentrated his practice on personal injury, wrongful death, and products liability. Over the course of his career he recovered more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements for his clients, building a reputation for aggressive advocacy paired with compassionate client service. He was licensed before the state courts of Nevada, Utah, and Arizona, the U.S. District Courts for Nevada and Utah, and the United States Supreme Court.

Brian was active in the legal community, serving on the Board of Governors of the Nevada Justice Association from 2005 to 2008 and holding memberships in the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Clark County Bar Association, and the Utah Trial Lawyers Association. His work earned him numerous professional honors, including an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, selection to Nevada Super Lawyers, membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and recognition among the American Trial Lawyers Association's Top 100 Trial Lawyers. Remembered as intelligent, compassionate, and generous, he passed away in Las Vegas on August 27, 2025.
