James Lewis Lundemo

James Lewis Lundemo was a Reno, Nevada attorney who devoted his career to the practice of law in northern Nevada. He was born on October 9, 1951, to Lewis J. and Phyllis Lundemo, and had lived in Reno for 32 years, having come from Tonopah. He graduated from Bishop Manogue High School and pursued his higher education at Oregon State University in Corvallis and the University of Nevada in Reno, before earning his law degree at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.

Mr. Lundemo began his legal career serving for one year as a law clerk under Judge Peter Breen. He went on to spend 13 years as a partner at the Reno law firm of Erikson, Thorpe and Swainston. Beyond his professional life, he was a member of the Catholic church and an official member of the Boys Club.

James Lewis Lundemo passed away on May 23, 1998, at the age of 46. He was survived by his wife, Jennifer; his son, Derek Reid; his daughters, Jamison Lundemo and Erica Reid; his brother, John; his foster father, John Magaldi; and his sisters, Judy Rausch and Janine Hardin.
