Jeffrey E. Heath

Jeffrey Earl Heath was born November 1, 1965, in El Paso, Texas, and was raised in Reno, Nevada, where he attended Hunter Lake Elementary, Swope Junior High School, and Reno High School, graduating in 1983. He went on to the University of Nevada, Reno, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. While a student, he was elected to the Student Senate, served as President of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and was a member of the Coffin & Keys society.

Jeff continued his education at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. After completing his legal studies, he returned to Reno, where he built and owned a successful bankruptcy law practice, which he maintained until the onset of his illness. He was known among those who knew him as incredibly bright and as a notably fair-minded man.

Jeffrey Earl Heath died at his residence on April 2, 2012, with his wife and children by his side, following complications of an illness that began in March 2009. He is remembered for living his life with love, decency, and kindness, and above all for his cherished role as a devoted father to his five children.
