Jill Garcia

Jill Marcum Garcia was an esteemed Las Vegas attorney who dedicated more than two decades of her life to the practice of law. Born June 4, 1974, she graduated with honors from Mount Saint Mary High School in Nashua, New Hampshire in 1992 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1996.

Admitted to practice in Nevada, Jill built a distinguished litigation career in Las Vegas. She began as an attorney at Beckley Singleton (2001 - 2007), then served as a senior associate attorney at Lewis and Roca (2007 - 2010), became a founding shareholder at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smock & Stewart, P.C. (2010 - 2020), and most recently practiced at Hone Law. She litigated commercial and employment matters, counseling clients in areas including equal opportunity, discrimination, wrongful discharge, non-competition and trade secrets, and wage and hour litigation.

Recognized as a skilled negotiator, litigator, and counselor who consistently achieved strong results for her clients, Jill was selected as a Top 50 Woman of the Mountain States by Super Lawyers from 2014 through 2023. At Hone Law she was remembered as an anchor of the firm - a steady, kindhearted leader and mentor. She passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 49.
