John M. Eccles

John Marriner Eccles, Esq., was a Las Vegas attorney whose career in Nevada law spanned more than fifteen years. Born on December 7, 1965, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he served in the U.S. Army before pursuing higher education, ultimately graduating from the University of Toledo School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1999 and went on to build a practice focused on family law.

Beyond his work representing clients, John devoted considerable energy to legal education and public service. He lectured on family law for the Nevada Business Institute and served as an adjunct professor for the criminal justice and paralegal programs at Las Vegas College. He also gave his time to the courts, serving as a Pro Tem Hearing Master in juvenile delinquency, abuse and neglect, and domestic violence matters.

John Marriner Eccles passed away on February 5, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 49. He is remembered as a dedicated advocate and teacher whose contributions touched both the practice and the study of law in his community.
