John Manzonie Jr.

John Manzonie was a longtime Nevada attorney who devoted his professional life to the practice of law in Las Vegas. Born on August 25, 1929, in Kimberly, Nevada, he came to Las Vegas and made the growing city his home for some 49 years, building a legal career there over the decades that followed.

A member of the State Bar of Nevada, John practiced as an attorney until his retirement. His long tenure in the profession spanned much of the era in which Las Vegas grew from a small desert town into a major city, and he was among the members of the Nevada bar who served the community through those years of change.

Beyond his legal work, John was active in civic and fraternal life as a member of the Elks in Las Vegas. He passed away on October 6, 2004, at the age of 75, remembered by his family and by the legal community he served for nearly half a century.
