John Robert Lusk

John Robert Lusk was a long-time attorney of Las Vegas, Nevada, where he built a legal career spanning several decades. Born December 24, 1943, in Port Arthur, Texas, the son of Leon and Lewella Lusk, he pursued an extensive education in the law - earning a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Laws (LLM) from New York University.

Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on September 15, 1975, Mr. Lusk went on to practice in Las Vegas for nearly four decades. His professional focus was in taxation and litigation, areas in which his advanced training in tax law - reflected in his LLM from NYU - distinguished his practice among the Nevada legal community.

John R. Lusk passed away on February 15, 2014. He is remembered as a dedicated member of the Nevada bar whose career reflected a deep commitment to the practice of law.
