John T. Gorman

John Taggart Gorman was born July 9, 1939, in Dallas, Texas, and became a resident of Nevada in 1969. A graduate of Southern Methodist University, he built his life and career in the Las Vegas community, where he was known and remembered by his family and colleagues.

An attorney for more than 39 years, John devoted his professional life to the practice of law and genuinely enjoyed the work. His Nevada practice centered on estate planning and probate matters, and he remained an active member of the bar throughout his long career.

Beyond his legal work, John was an engaged member of his community, serving on the boards of the Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association and the Las Vegas Woods and Waters Association. He passed away on September 2, 2016, at the age of 77.
