Jon K. Springmeyer

Jon K. Springmeyer was a longtime attorney in Carson City, Nevada. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1980, he built his practice in the state capital, where he concentrated on administrative law, estate planning, and family law and served clients throughout the Carson City area.

Jon was a member of the Springmeyer family, whose roots ran deep in Nevada's Carson Valley. He was a son of Melvin F. 'Buzz' Springmeyer and Marjorie Johnson Springmeyer, both well known in the Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe communities, and was one of three children raised in the family's historic ranch home in the valley.

Jon was preceded in death by his father, Buzz, in 2007. He died in 2010, survived at that time by his wife, Bonnie Springmeyer of Carson City, and remembered by a family long associated with Nevada's legal and civic life.
