Julie B. Towler

Julie B. Towler dedicated her legal career to public service in Nevada. Born in Seattle, Washington, in 1980, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Washington University before entering the law. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada on October 16, 2007, beginning a career devoted to representing government and the public interest.

Ms. Towler served the people of Reno as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Reno. Earlier in her career, she worked with the State of Nevada, Office of the Attorney General. Across these public law offices, she committed her professional efforts to the community she served in northern Nevada.

Julie B. Towler died on August 22, 2021, in Reno, Nevada, at the age of 41. In lieu of flowers, her family requested that donations be made to the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation. She is remembered for her commitment to public service within the Nevada legal community.
