Kenneth W. Long

Kenneth Walter Long was born on May 29, 1969, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he grew up with five siblings. He attended Brigham Young University and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate at the University of San Diego. Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1996, he built a legal career that spanned decades.

Mr. Long practiced in the Las Vegas and Henderson area, concentrating in personal injury and general practice. Those who remembered him noted that his legal work gave him the opportunity to help thousands of people, many of whom came to consider him a dear friend. Over the course of his life he lived in Provo, San Diego, Las Vegas, and, most recently, southern Utah.

Beyond the law, Mr. Long learned American Sign Language and served as an ASL interpreter, and he was active in his church and community. He passed away on June 10, 2021, in St. George, Utah, at the age of 52.
