Kevin Cleary Efroymson

Kevin Cleary Efroymson was born January 22, 1932, in Chicago, to Alfred and Johanna (nee Coughlin) Efroymson. He earned his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1955, and shortly after graduating served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1957 to 1958.

In 1960, Kevin took a position with the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians, AFL-CIO, where he handled a range of labor relations matters, including negotiations on behalf of the union with the major networks. He and his wife, Deborah, made Las Vegas their home, where Kevin would remain a resident for more than 50 years.

Kevin devoted his career in Nevada to labor and employment law, establishing his own Las Vegas law firm in 1976. His work in the field earned him recognition as a Super Lawyer from 2007 through 2013. He passed away on August 24, 2016, at the age of 84.
