Kevin J. Snyder

Kevin J. Snyder, a native of Saratoga Springs, New York, built a distinctive legal career grounded in an earlier life in engineering. A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and of the Florida Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering, he began his professional life in the nuclear energy field, working for Niagara Mohawk and later for Boston Edison as a supervisor at the Pilgrim plant in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

In 1992 he entered New England College of Law in Boston, graduating in 1995. Following a two-year clerkship in the New York Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in Albany, he opened his practice in Nevada. Admitted to practice in New York, Massachusetts, Florida and Nevada, as well as the U.S. Patent Bar, he maintained an office for his private practice in Henderson, Nevada, where he made his home.

Beyond his practice, Kevin devoted himself to service, serving throughout his professional career as a board member and chief counsel of Medical Missions for Children, a Boston-based charity that provides free care to children worldwide born with severe birth defects. A lifelong sports enthusiast - an avid runner, golfer, skier and recreational basketball player - he was remembered as a joyful and generous son, brother and friend.
