Leslie Terry Jones

Leslie Terry Jones, known as Terry, was born September 8, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Leslie Clover Jones and Ercie Alene Jones. He pursued his education at Columbia University, graduating in 1959, and went on to earn his degree from Harvard University in 1962.

He was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in 1962 and built a legal career spanning nearly five decades as a longtime resident of Las Vegas. He practiced law until his retirement in 2009.

Beyond the law, Terry was an avid reader with eclectic tastes, embracing fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and prose. His musical interests ranged broadly, with a particular passion for opera. He passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 85.
