Lon A. Burke

Lon Aaron Burke was born on December 30, 1964, in Seattle, Washington. He attended Boise State University, where he served as president of his class and harbored early political aspirations, before going on to the University of Iowa College of Law, from which he graduated in 1995.

Following law school, Mr. Burke joined the firm of Snell & Wilmer LLP in Phoenix, beginning a legal career that would span more than twenty years. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1997, part of a practice tied to a firm with a substantial presence across Nevada and Arizona.

After more than two decades in the practice of law, Mr. Burke pursued a new calling in law enforcement. He attended the police academy in Denver and subsequently served the City of Denver in its first precinct. He passed away on July 13, 2021.
