Lori A. O'Brien

Lori Ann O'Brien was born July 21, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Boylan Catholic High School in 1978. She earned her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1994, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 1997.

Admitted to practice in Nevada, she was a member of both the Nevada State Bar and the Illinois State Bar. Over the course of her legal career she served in the City Attorney's office for the City of Rockford, and most recently worked as an assistant State's Attorney for Boone County, Illinois.

Lori held a deep and lasting connection to Las Vegas - she was married there in 1988, loved the city, and spent much of her free time in Nevada. She passed away on August 8, 2013, at the age of 53.
