Loyal Robert Hibbs

Loyal Robert Hibbs was born on December 24, 1925, in Des Moines, Iowa. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 1950 and was admitted to the Iowa bar in 1952 before building his legal career in Nevada.

Admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1958, Mr. Hibbs practiced law in Reno and became a respected figure in the state's legal community. He was an active member of the American Bar Association and Nevada bar organizations, and in 1971 he was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Hibbs served as president of the State Bar of Nevada from 1977 to 1978, a role reflecting the esteem of his peers and his dedication to the profession. He died on April 8, 2019, in Reno, Nevada.
